The Independent Oil Terminal (IOT) team receives global recognition in the Safety Excellence category.

🔹The terminal facilities was established in 2006, with IOT Management appointed as the operator in 2007.

🔹Terminal operations, divided into two areas of fuel management and LPG bottling facilities, have clocked 8,020,141 man-hours as of December 31, 2019, with no lost-time injuries.

🔹To date, the terminal has achieved 8,723,102 labor hours with zero LTI with its operations.

🔹The terminal promotes continuous safety measures, with empowerment towards all level of terminal personnel, from top to bottom and vice versa.

🔹Management enforces and practices HSSE policies, including an anti-drug and anti-alcohol policy, and adopts best practices in accordance with industry standards, i.e., Shell’s Learning Before Incidents (LBI), Learning From Incident (LFI), Hazard Effect Management Plans (HEMP), and is in the process of Occupational Health and Safety Heath Management System ISO45001 certification.

🔹Terminal operations conduct regular safety campaigns such as Back-to-Basic and Goal Zero, and implementing safety cultures such as Life Saving Rules (LSR) and Zero Tolerance Rules (ZeTo).

🔹As part of the #digitization strategy, a HSSE web portal employing GSuites Google Sites was developed, to provide an e-Permit-to-Work system implementation in the pipeline.

🔹Management is work closely with multinational customers, including the company's key players, PETRONAS and Shell to adopt best security practices and policies.
