Custom Mobile Skid Tailored for Changing Operational Demands

It was a successful collaboration between our Design and Manufacturing team in China and the Project team in Malaysia, working together to design the skid by incorporating insights from various sources and lessons learned from past experiences in Malaysia.

This Mobile Additive Injection Skid has been customised for a major Malaysian petroleum customer. This skid not only expands the DKI Group portfolio but also showcases our latest product, marking a significant achievement in manufacturing and integration.

It is designed in accordance with relevant international codes and standards (API, IEC, ATEX, ASME, etc.), ensuring it is environmentally friendly, suitable for heavy-duty use, safe for hazardous areas, easy to maintain, accessible, capable of manual operation, and simple to install.

1. Advanced Safety and Environmental Protection

🔹ATEX Compliance: Designed to operate safely in hazardous areas, ensuring protection against explosions and other risks associated with flammable substances.

🔹Low Emission Design: Incorporates environmentally friendly materials such as DKI API Coupler and hose reels and relative processes, minimising the environmental impact and ensuring compliance with stringent environmental regulations.

2. High Precision and Reliability

🔹Precision Metering Pumps: Utilises high-precision additive pumps with a maximum pressure of 14 Bar and an operating pressure of 10 Bar, ensuring accurate and consistent injection rates.

🔹Automated Control System: Features an integrated Batch Controller system for precise control and monitoring of the injection process. This system allows for remote operation, real-time data logging, and automated diagnostics.

🔹Redundant Safety Systems: Includes redundant safety valves and pressure gauges, all calibrated and certified to ensure reliability and fail-safe operation.

3. Cost-Effective Flexibility and Scalability

🔹Modular Design: The skid is designed with modularity in mind, allowing for easy upgrades and modifications to meet future operational needs. Additive injection points, storage tanks, or pumps can be seamlessly integrated.

🔹Variable Flow Rates: Capable of handling a wide range of flow rates, from 40L/min (2.4m³/h) to 60L/min (3.6m³/h),making it suitable for various operational scenarios and ensuring adaptability to changing demands.

🔹Customisable Additive Blending: Equipped with 2 storage tanks (each with a volume of 1,000L, max.1,350L), allowing for the storage and blending of different additives to meet specific customer requirements.

4. Enhanced Maintainability and Accessibility

🔹Easy Access Panels: Designed with easy-to-remove access panels, providing quick and convenient access to internal components for maintenance and inspection.

🔹Centralised Maintainability: Features a centralised system for critical components, reducing maintenance time and ensuring consistent lubrication for pumps.

🔹Drip Tray and Containment System: Equipped with a large-capacity drip tray (1,500L) and containment system to capture any spills or leaks, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

5. Innovative Testing and Quality Assurance

🔹100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): All welds and joints undergo 100% Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT)and Positive Material Identification (PMI),ensuring the highest level of quality and integrity.

🔹Hydrostatic Testing: Both piping and tank systems are tested at 1.5 times the design pressure, with water quality maintained below 50ppm,ensuring robustness and reliability.

🔹Certified Inspections: All inspections and tests are conducted by certified professionals (e.g., CSWIP 3.1 certified inspectors), providing assurance of compliance with international standards.

6. User-Friendly and Ergonomic Design

🔹Ergonomic Control Panel: The control panel is designed with user-friendliness in mind, featuring intuitive controls, clear displays, and easy-to-read gauges.

🔹Manual Override Capability: In case of automated system failure, the skid can be operated manually, ensuring continuous operation and minimising downtime.

🔹Compact and Mobile: With dimensions of 6,058 (L) x 2,438 (W) x 2,591 (H), the skid is compact and designed for easy transportation, making it ideal for mobile applications and on-site deployment.
